BART Advanced Automated Train Control System

DEENSCORP supported Harmon Industries in design and construction of the Project. We prepared construction drawings, bills of materials, and installation procedures for AATC equipment, radio communication network for BART aerial, at-grade and inside the tunnel, and the aerial platforms. DEENSCORP also reviewed shop drawings and performed inspections during installation to ensure conformance with construction documents. The completed project allows BART to operate twice as many trains as conventional signaling on existing tracks with minimal capital investment.
